Organiser Responsibilities:

  • By submitting an event, organisers confirm that it aligns with the platform’s goals and does not fall under excluded categories (see below).
  • Organisers must ensure all event details are accurate, truthful, and up-to-date.
  • Links to external sites (e.g., Facebook or other websites) may be included for further details, but the organiser is solely responsible for their accuracy.

Animal Events is a platform for listing events in Great Britain and Ireland, focusing on events that require volunteers and align with our mission of advocating for animals and fostering meaningful community action.

City Calendars:

  • The website currently offers dedicated calendars for three UK cities, with plans to expand based on demand.
  • Users can request new city calendars via the contact form, and requests will be reviewed.

Accepted Events:

  • Events requiring volunteers, such as protests, outreach activities, demonstrations, marches, or social gatherings.
  • Free-to-participate events that align with activism or community-building efforts.

Excluded Events:

  • Vague plans or media of past events.
  • Online-only events, unless they are geographically relevant.
    • Note: If there is sufficient demand, we may create a national calendar specifically for online events.
  • Business promotions or ticketed events (e.g., expos).
    • Note: If there is sufficient demand, we may create a separate national calendar for such events.

Guidelines for Submission:

  • Organisers are required to ensure all event details are accurate and truthful.
  • Submissions should include a link to a Facebook page, website, or another reliable source for additional event details.
  • Submissions are reviewed, and we reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove events at our discretion.

Platform Rights:

  • Animal Events reserves the right to edit, reject, or remove any events or organiser access without prior notice.
  • Access to submit events is granted at our discretion and may be revoked at any time for any reason.

Governing Law:

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
